It only just dropped, so no one has used it in anger yet. I've written a couple of small things in it today though. It just seems like such a lovely little language, but prologs are. It is pretty damn great to be able to attach probabi

Even if you do show compassion, it is usually extremely one directional. Eventually that gets hard to keep doing so, and you just give up on them. I found trying to deal with them with compassion was a cast of setting yourself on fire to ke

It is the ability to change your compensation while staying in the company. Which in part is "number of engineering teams" rather than the size of any one of them. You can change project / pay scale without changing company.

Yeah, this is the real problem. Since a job hop typically nets you an extra 10k/y 6 years in a job is going to have you down 60k/y. Why would you do that to yourself? In saying that, I've stayed longer in some rolls than the

Try running the workload with pinned CPUs assigned ^^^--- it will be this. I've run into the same weirdness on other things and this always solves it. Some cores are better at some things than others.

Because they didn't want the truckers filling up the hospitals. Same reason as New Zealand having the mandates, it wasn't about trying to reduce spread, it was about trying to reduce the number of people who would end up in hospit

I've not been enjoying my CDK experience, the idea of it is a beautiful one, the practical application is far less so. The different libraries for the different services act extremely differently, there are frequently breaking changes

Except that isn't true. You can fire up a BBS from your home machine. Anyone who wants to hear your opinion on things can read it. Freedom of speech is NOT the same as freedom to force people to listen to you.
