When will people realize that slapping yet another startup's tech stack onto yours isn't going to magically fix anything and in fact just adds complexity and points of failure. I've always done my best to err on the side of &

So the more empty promises a CEO makes, the more valuable a company? And they say capitalism isn't broken. Have fun holding those bags I guess. I swear this is the logic of a small child. Dangle some candy in front of them and they

I frankly can't see how this is inciting a flamewar. Tesla has a pretty good record of being terrible at manufacturing. I've seen innumerable comments on this site where people make similar "what makes you think that..."

What makes you think that Tesla would be able to do that, given their reputation of not being able to manufacture cars that don't fall apart immediately upon rolling off the factory line? They kinda have to be able to build cars in the

So you still think it's a good thing that a private company should be handling important infrastructure and be able to say, on a whim, "Nop, we're not going to handle this because reasons. Sorry not sorry." How can you s

They're not literally saying to people, with no notice, that "no, we won't accept this mailpiece" so yes, I think they're doing better. Privatizing the mail doesn't magically prevent delivery mistakes from happ

So, anyone here still think it's a good idea to privatize postal delivery?

Ah right, because using other tried and tested methods like providing everyone better mental healthcare options are boring. Just make an app! Apps solve everything! Apps! Apps! Apps! Oh right but providing better mental healthcare doesn

Yeah just keep throwing apps at every problem, that'll fix things eventually. lmao

You make it sound like the companies who run this shit are penniless, they're not, they're making millions of dollars of actual cash. There's no charity going on here.

Who cares. That's where capitalism is now because letting it run rampant created and caused this. The bed was made, and now we all get to sleep in it.

So it's not real capitalism even though this industry is, quite literally, called "Venture Capitalism" okay.

Exactly this. You can't take "well this is happening but it's not real capitalism" even though everyone's calling it capitalism. It's capitalism. Capitalism is busted and rewards greed and concentration of we

Sorry but "rich people are miserable because they have too much money" is not a real problem and I feel exactly zero sympathy for anyone in that position.

The fact that it comes down to "the RIAA continues to have power" versus "we have to trust some billionaire to stop this" is disgusting, imo.

The only reason you'd think that's what communism is is if all your ideas about what "communism" is come from capitalist propaganda.

Don't talk to the cops about anything, ever. Especially not this. Lawyers are paid to keep your best interests in mind. Cops will investigate the shit out of you and will do nothing to help, at all.

What? I have never used Twitter in any serious capacity. There are plenty of ways to get all this information and thinking that Twitter is the de-facto place to get emergency life or death situation notifications is downright laughable. As
