Nope, you can tag yourself "anonymous" but they still want you to register with real data which I don't trust them to have.

A few times I've wanted to chime in with expert answers in my field and they didn't let me without giving my real name and personal data. So I didn't.

Yep, and I for one am very happy that they failed to make MAS the standard. I wouldn't like the practices that run rampant in their iOS platform to take over Mac, which I still use on the side.

The other simpler addon is not a separate window, but this one is much better once you get used to it. Worth it as it really takes things to a different level. BTW you can move the tab outliner itself to a tab and close the window.

Chromium/Chrome with "tabs outliner" is quite sweet. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tabs-outliner/eggk... There's an add-on for simple vertical tabs, but I think this is even be

All of that can be abstracted at the OS-VM level. As for Trillek I see that now. However if you looked at the project page alone without these references, it's very off-putting by the lack of a concrete plan and the abuse of flamboyant

That machine is by no means more simple. Certainly more similar to existing machines, but not more simple. One could go the ARM or MIPS route and these machines actually exist. BTW what is this Trillek thing?? I was browsing a bit and I can

I agree with your assessment but the comment you're replying to is making an untrue assumption, he didn't say that he sunk Symbolics himself or anything close to that. He said that he hindered their plan to drive LMI out of busine

I disagree on both accounts actually. I hated Win3.1 with a passion, everything ran like crap as it tried to do too much on computers that weren't ready for it, 99% of the time (only by the time of 3.11 for WorkGroups it started being

Hey, the script is cool. A more realistic simulation would probably very quite complex. You can still shape the boat a bit more like a sailboat to make it more intuitive (making it pointy just in the bow end = front). http://www.

Yep, that's why early sail designs used to be square and looked to maximise sail area vs mast and boom (or frame). Ships can advance into the wind because of: - drag reduction (hull shape, keep, rudder) : sideways force translates to a

In comparison with the Z80 it's roughly equivalent. It took about the same time to load/store indirectly in/from zero-page as it took the Z80 to load/store directly from registers. The 6502 ran roughly in 2 cycles per in

Karma is not mentioned at all in the article. They may have in mind a more "liquid" version of Reddit Gold (which you can pay in Bitcoin for some time already, btw).

Speaking of which, Rust is probably an appropriate language to write a safe and fast WSGI dispatcher to go with Flask, or maybe a full server with an embedded Flask-like framework.
