Assuming TLS is still unbroken, RTMPS (Flash RTMP over TLS tunnel) offers the most accessible form of end-to-end encryption. To avoid intermediaries you'd have to run your own Flash server (e.g. Red5) though.

Or copy a startup that limits itself to email / iPhone notifications (like e.g. peerby.com) and add SMS to have a much bigger reach.

You might also be falling victim to what I call the "Cialdini effect." After I read his Influence book I couldn't have a normal interaction with sales people for a long time, since every time I'd recognise the techniques I would feel manipu

In Europe I'd guess you'd be most at home in the Linux world. At the moment all the activity there is in virtualisation related companies, so I'd try to approach some of them and see if they've got something for you. I think NetApp is hirin

I'd like to add one more thing, in that if you're really trying to help, consider expose him to some NLP. NLP got a bad reputation from the people in the self-help industry that latched on to it, but at its core it's about modelling thought

I didn't consider that he could have meant the retaliation by the internet trolls. Yes those technically would be, although I still think using it in this context sullies the term hate crime.

You completely lost me here, but nothing in the SendGrid scandal even comes close to deserving the label hate crime. A hate crime is when some of my gay friends get their face beaten in once again because they were holding hands.

How do you find Enterprisey clients that let you work remotely? Is it also word of mouth like most regular enterprise work or do you make yourself heard in some specific communities?

Indeed. It's still quadratic time but it's a significant step up.

If you're looking for a simple solution that gets you close some of the way here ... consider mailing every error you get to GMail. I recently discovered that it's conversation grouping works quite decently for error messages.

Definitely. You should also consider tracking which letters have low recognition rates, since I guess it's mostly problems with things like Q vs O and Z vs 2.

Clojure was also the first mainstream (non-PF) language to implement Okasaki's as first class data structures. I know Scala quickly followed suit, since I remember Odersky bragging in a meetup that he went out of his way to find the scien

Indeed; you can't build a quantum CPU with D-Wave's system. It's conceptually more similar to a GPU which can solve a specific subset of (non-embarrassingly-parallel) problems in polynomial rather than exponential time, with the published n
