Something as simple as mandating that all of a user's activity (and with all I mean including e.g. click tracking on FB or external sites) and accessible information (i.e. posts the user can view) can be exported in real time in a ma

I worked for a cable ISP helpdesk once and during a particularly hot summer I vividly remember an on/off outage where we'd be getting regular updates from the field guys along the lines of: "We opened the doors and it works n

Interesting. It seems you should be able to use this to stream user generated content live from Flash at least. Not sure if it would support WebRTC as well though. I do see RTP support but not sure WebRTC can push to that out of the box.

I apparently played that stage too well and completed it before I had made enough paper clips (which becomes the new currency then) to get anything started at all in the next stage.

I attained full autonomy before getting to 100m+ clips and am now stuck not able to create any factories. The price of success ;-)

Just tell me what you want... which is usually what you want to achieve by hiring me. What are the key differentiators you’re looking for? If you had to explain your search to a recruiter... what would your elevator pitch version be? Just t

Patronage [1] is the idea behind Patreon. Viewed as a pyramid it's one that goes only one level deep and markets only yourself as a worthy cause to support ;-) [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patronage

It's not so easy without upsetting established political conventions. If those change though it becomes a lot easier to do.

If you added this with RTMP+WebRTC ingestion support all of these [1] companies would probably jump on the opportunity... and dozens more would start up in that space ;-) [1] http://interviewingsoftware.com/

Perhaps being more lenient in noisier situations could be an interesting tradeoff then. At lower noise levels it's already pretty good...

Subjectively it seems to me that the RNNoise sample doesn't trigger my brain to attempt to fill in the gaps. With the Speex/raw ones I have all the data so if I listen to it again over and over I can get more out of it eventually.

Can I use this together with CloudFlare streaming to open up stream ingestion based on some HMAC signed parameters? To give regular end-user the rights to e.g. 'record one video of up to X seconds and Y mbps under ID "some-uuid&qu

It used to be 10 years but was reduced to 8 a few years ago. You keep the 30% rule after you apply for citizenship though. It even applies to native residents who haven't lived in NL for more than 10 or 20 years.

The hard part is the ingestion services; which aren't as easy to set up as they seem since a proper one is essentially a reverse CDN (content ingestion network if you'd like ;-)

An API where I could point end user video uploads to and have them processed, transcoded and playable on all platforms. One that also works at the RTMP/WebRTC layer (i.e. not just an all-in-one JS library with it's own idea of a
