The original block was way too wide, now they just block gist which is obviously used by dissidents to spread unlawful propaganda. The whole family of pastebin and pastebin-like websites is blocked for the same reason.

Well, as Sci-hub doesn't push links to Elsevier in every paper they obtain, you shouldn't expect BuzzFeed attributing food blogs. However, I do not defend BuzzFeed's actions, and it would probably be better off for everyone i

Recipes are not copyrightable, and I'd argue that it's actually beneficial to all of us to exchange recipes freely and allow for commercial reuse. Food is an important and quantifiable part of our lives, and improving it is a coll

Yes, I agree with you. Shanghai is very far from being my favorite place on Earth, but for other reasons I am here, and from pure architectural and cultural points of view, it is way above most Chinese cities. Hong Kong, on the other side,

I think the whole story is not as simple. First of all, it happened in China, the country with vastly different cultural mentality. "36 stratagems" are fully alive and kicking here. People in businesses here lie, cheat and deceive

It is proven that everything is "harmful" and, eventually, leads to death. 100%. Another question is how certain things make you feel, short-term, as well as long-term. I think it's wise not to chase the extremes and latest d

There are two open formats for recipes: hRecipe microformat, and Schema.org Recipe entity. Aggregators like Yummly parse those. Most food blogs are based on Wordpress or Typepad, both of which has recipe "editors" as plugins and p
