Nice work – what's being done to make this the default behavior in node and deprecate node_modules proper, or is this forever destined to live in the awkward place of userland-but-not-really kind of territory? People have already menti

Me too, and I hate face id. It forces me to essentially try to take a selfie to open my phone, or read notifications. I feel it's gotten better over time, but it fails very often and I find myself having to type the passcode all the ti

It'd be useful to see a sample report before signing up. It doesn't have to be a form where I put my own site URL in, it can be some representative examples, but just so I know what I'm buying into. The wall of text is fine –

Man, this brings back memories. I still have an O2 and an Octane system in storage. Been meaning to take them out and set them up again at some point. My father was generous enough to give me an O2 in the late 90s so I could learn 3D graphi

This is precisely why it’s difficult to sell upward – why spend time and money on something, yet still not be able to guarantee that things will work? Especially when you can roll the dice, have things work great until such time it doesn’t,

Depends on what city and country you're comparing with, and how you like to live. Scandinavia isn't cheap, but it's generally also value for money. I've used this tool in the past, and found it good to get a rough, gener

You're not entirely wrong, but it's important to be careful as well because the immigration authorities in the nordics are bureaucratic monsters. There are many examples of people being deported because of a mistake entirely out o

Unless the job is something that literally anyone could do I’d be very hesitant to accept an offer without an on-site interview or two.

Why? The `data:` schema is already there and is well supported across platforms. All itty bitty does is take the base64 encoded fragment part of the URL and put it in an iframe, wrapping it in the `data:` scheme. No need to register anythin

Right, for an app that makes sense but the use case I mentioned was really just pure data. A ticket is rarely more than a qr code or some other identifier, whose veracity is then checked t the point of reading. In an arena full of people it

Unfortunately that comes with a bootstrapping problem: what if the first time you hit the link is when you aren't connected? If everything is embedded in the data URI and the link is in fact the data itself then it doesn't matter.

If you want the whole UI around rendering the content, sure, but you don't need that – it's just an iframe that sets a `data:` URI anyway. The link can just as well be the data URI itself. It'd be a very long link for any non
