Some EVs allow different levels of regenerative braking to be selected. The Hyundai/Kia E-GMP-based cars have level 0-3 plus a 1-pedal mode, and also an "auto" mode that slows down more based on radar proximity to the car ahe

If it’s parked on the street, that is taking up a lane that could be carrying traffic. (And in some cities it’s common for parallel street parking to turn into a lane from 4-8 PM or similar)

How about the World Trade Center to Yankee Stadium. Driving is 32 min with a $9 toll, or 38 min with no toll. Subway is 31 min with $3 fare. And this is a Sunday afternoon, I’m sure the drive gets dramatically worse on a weekday.

It's baffling, I don't consider this a production-usable feature if the toolchain is only available remotely on a Microchip server.

The Griffin iMate was the most popular ADB-USB adapter from the time, and probably supports non-input devices (it would’ve been the only option at the time to make those dongles work).

Note that this was the last “OldWorld” Mac (at least desktop Mac, the WallStreet PowerBook G3 was probably a bit later) where the traditional Mac ROM was in an actual hardware ROM. “NewWorld” started with the iMac: only Open Firmware was in

The same day they shut down WebOS, all the unsold hardware was cut to fire-sale prices. TouchPad was $99, and they sold out everywhere at that price. I bought 2 at the time, sold one and used the other for a while. The hardware didn't

Note that this doesn't include lxcore.sys, the kernel side driver that powers WSL 1. (Also, I'm surprised that WSL 1 is still supported. It must be in maintenance mode though, right?)
