To continue this idea (feel free to steal this), what if this tool looked more like this: https://play.tailwindcss.com/KqFF5wqk5I Have a conversation with the AI about the PC you want, and challenge it on things like "

I don't disagree, but from what I see, it could be executed faster with just a good database query. It's not clear what is AI about this, or what benefit AI actually gives it as a tool.

What part of this needs ai? This looks like it could be done with a database and a price list. I think this suggestion is already said, but the main push of "ai" is mostly in terms of natural language processing, so why not allow

Here's my summary of this article for those who are interested in this: - Author, who is a rails backend developer, got a job where they used rails as a back-end, and react for front-end - The author has strong backend skills, and stro

Neat proof of concept. I think what you'd want to do is have some form of dom vs component diffing, and traverse the old dom and only create new elements if you find a node type mismatch. Consider this, you have a slider input, and oni

My only real gripe with hamburgers is inconsistent implementations with various "works on browser X and Y, but not Z." On top of that, not many (or no one?) has take advantage of publishing web components that aren't framewor

I'm not convinced this is tasteless - dead celebrities may still have people that manage their affairs and accounts, and they could have subscribed. I know that doesn't cover all cases, but I think the journalism of this article i

Is that a "real" problem, though? Like does that blue checkmark actually change how you use twitter? Have all the historic "verified" accounts become invalidated and fake based on the blue checkmark being tied to the acc

I'm not confident about the entire statement you're making. Paying $8 does not equate to agreeing with Elon or what side of politics you sit, paying $8 only equates to whether or not you want a blue "verified" checkmark.

Regardless of your opinion on Elon, I don't see the issue. I'd even argue that re-adding the checkmark to dead celebrates is actually respectful, since they are unable to subscribe but they are official accounts who historically w

Well, you wouldn't need to for every package, it really depends on what you're bringing in and what dependencies they have. I do see your point, though.

One thing I'm curious about is if it's just possible to sort of roll your own package version manager as part of your deno app. For instance, the current thing, from what I understand, is <code>import foo from ' https:&

I came here to leave this exact comment. A possible counter argument might be that people think computers are much more infallible than people (even if that's not objective reality).

I think any attempt at "de-extinction" is quite literally a statement of disbelief of evolution. A core tenant (at least from my perspective) of evolution is survival of the fittest. I agree with all the other comments mentioning

Of course you don't need the vdom for testing, but it's typically a little lighter weight since the implementation of the vdom would already be bundled in. That said people typically reach for some special vdom assertion library a

I've developed a few Elm apps, and tried Iced. I liked Iced, but I'm not a proficient rust developer, which really limited what I could do with it.

People like to hate on the VDOM, but here's some food for thought: - VDOM is data-driven without side-effects - VDOM does not actually require JSX or build steps - VDOM decouples you from the real dom, which has allowed things like rea

I want to be clear, I'm not saying being trans is or is not an ideology in and of itself, but that doesn't mean there are no ideologies that revolve around it.
