A counter example is that we have gotten in trouble in the US for NOT sending the police into high crime areas as well.

A less cynical and perhaps naive explanation would be that it makes sense statistically for minorities to be stopped when there is a description.

If you look at who their competition is I would think they have a long ways to go before being considered the bad guys

For the most part taxes on stocks are at least better than bitcoin. Roughly they are treated the same in the US though.

Paying rent for closed offices is common, especially with COVID. Commercial leases aren't usually 1 year like residential.

Several different compression algorithms would do very well for this. E.g dict compression for low cardinality wide columns. I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with a handful of different encodings for columnar data stores before you

A lot of nostalgia for me. Early in my career I frequented turntable with my all night coding sessions. Was really disappointed to see it shutdown.

It only took a few months for me working around bitcoin warehouses to realize I was being extremely hypocritical. Some will argue that bitcoin is important to society so the electricity use can be justified. I personally drastically reduced

I've posted here before about it. I'm of the opinion that it currently is not decentralized. There is such a shortage of hardware that can be competitive right now and there are only a few organizations that can get their hands on

Bitmain gives preferential treatment to certain vendors. This is problematic with a massive supply shortage. It makes it worst when the hardware that already exists starts to become worthless.

There is an appearance of fragmentation. If you look at the order from the supply chain it would lead you to believe this is not the case. It's not going to be even be easy for anyone in retail to get an ASIC miner for the foreseeable

Are you sure about that? Do you not think the mining is extremely concentrated by a handful of big players and is going to become increasing more so as the hardware needed is becoming more difficult to obtain?

I like Ethereum not just because of the more responsible PoS but also because mining is currently asic resistant. A lot of the waste going into bitcoin right now is building specialized miners that will go into a landfill after a generation

This submitter bmcn2020 spams this site with just enough bad articles to cover up all the other links to his own website. I don't understand why they allow that here.
