I've seen this on photos sent via iMessage, even before this update. I have the feature enabled where photos sent to you from certain contacts automatically show in your photo library. Some photos... do not need to remain. I can delete

macOS does support more than one “virtual” resolution, which I’d consider variable scaling. It’s admittedly less granular than Windows, but it works well enough for me. I have a 27” Acer Predator 4k120 display on my shop Mac, with the virtu

Will this allow multiple machines to process the same file? If not is there anything out there that can?

I would love to see the Journeyman Project series given this treatment. Not sure who owns the IP at this point though.

I remember this project! Inspired me to make an MP3 player out of an old VCR case and an old 486, to use with my appropriately 90s stereo component stack. Around the same time I had been given 6x Powermac 7200s that had been retired from a

That's an interesting idea, and I'd love to see more about your current setup if you have it posted anywhere. I've also thought about having something like that. I have a Model 3 with a web browser and the ability to connect

I wonder how many people irrationally hated Cortana because of the Windows 10 setup procedure. "Hi, I'm Cortana, and I'm here to help..."

Honestly, I would have said the same thing, but I switched to a Model 3 and don't miss CarPlay. What I really want is Spotify/Apple Music integration, and connected navigation that doesn't suck. Not disagreeing with you at al

Fortunately for me, my device is often named something like "xxxs's MacBook Pro (34)". It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Forza Horizon 3 and 4 are on Windows, but Forza 3 and 4 were Xbox 360 only.

For someone that frequents Hacker News, maybe. My spouse has an 8GB M2 Air and has no complaints.

In what high-end PC workflows would you notice a difference between ~7500MBps and ~10000MBps?

I believe this is just using the Bluetooth features meant to sync with car infotainment systems. I don't see that going away, but I also don't see this as performing like anything more than a clunky hack.

Seems to me that this isn't intentionally done to block upgrades. I don't think anyone at Apple expects the M1 trackpad to be connected to an M2 logic board in the real world, and didn't write drivers to accommodate.

For anyone confused by this, you can apparently only change the "topcolor" if you have 250+ karma. Perhaps I should lurk less...
