I find Medium difficult to work with. Their writing interface is fine, but their reading experience has gone down hill, frankly. I'll pass on this option.

> Gitlab CI with your own runners that are forbidden from direct Internet access Yes. Absolutely yes. GitLab (CI) is SO. GOOD. Use it! It's incredibly flexible and powerful.

This looked really promising at first, but then I realised it's self-hosted-with-crippled-features. This thread on Reddit was enough to put off: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/m9nfsi/se

Yeah ours is the same. I can Siri to turn on our AppleTV and a few minutes later we get to watch something. I mean it's only a few minutes but the question, "WTH is this thing doing?" is very valid.

That's why the idea presented - the idea that we can keep people awake 24/7 without negative consequences (or at least not enough of them to warrant alarm) - is so insidious. It doesn't require anyone to subjugate or enslave

Is this important? I know this might sound like an odd question, but I came into the VCS world with Git and have never used Mercurial, SVN, etc. With Git permeating every enterprise and organisation I've contracted for in the past year

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. Here is my take away from this: that's overly complicated. We all have a finite amount of time. Most of use allocate 8 hours of the day to work. With that in mind, and given we have a team of 5
