I just want to use color SVGs as favicons. One file format- looks great on any screen at any size. But no, Safari isn’t interested in that feature. Edit: I looked it up, and apparently its added in Safari 26!

Yeah, I know the type you speak of. Always quick to bring up concerns, attach their own demands, or just generally sandbag anything that wasn’t their own idea. There is something to be said about the ‘put up or shut up’ mentality with regar

Wow, I read the full email. Talk about a hostile work environment. This is a CEO who straight up hates his employees. No doubt he is betting big on AI to be able to make big cuts in the workplace. Beyond the double speak about how everyone

A few months ago I watched HBO’s Chernobyl miniseries. Afterwards, I had a strong impulse to buy a Geiger Counter from Amazon. I went as far as reading reviews of the various brands and picking out which one to get - if I were to get one. I

My partner and I tested for it. We had a discussion and agreed a positive down’s result would not affect our decision to have the baby, but we were testing for other things anyway and it seemed like having the information earlier rather the

I’m most excited about wcurl and the —update flag for Apt. Everything is fine without them, but it’s nice QoL enhancements.

Yes, that is absolutely possible, but doesn't mean that will be the default. I commented recently [0] about Ubuntu's decision to have only NTS enabled (via domain) by default on 25.10. It begs the question how system time can be s

Plenty of other responses with good use cases, but I didn’t see NTS mentioned. If you want to use NTS, but can’t get an IP cert, then you are left requiring DNS before you can get a trusted time. If DNS is down- then you can’t get the time.

A couple months ago Brain Krebs, who uses Google’s Project Shield, wrote of a very similar attack. 6.3 terabits, all UDP, less then a minute. https://krebsonsecurity.com/2025/05/krebsonsecurity-hit-with...

I was a bit confused by this article, since the NTP pools do not currently support NTS (last I checked at least). So, I spun up a Plucky install to have a look. /etc/chrony/sources.d/ubuntu-ntp-pools.sources contains:
