If you are in the US, at least your data isn't being sent to another country. Outside the US, I think your comment stands on its own.

Programming should have always been an apprenticeship system. Maybe add in formal education like a Comp Sci degree, but I've been saying since I entered this industry (which isn't THAT long ago, but still) that apprenticeships wou

Game code in general is usually a nightmare. I do think Rust would be better than C++ though, in a lot of ways.

Except that in this case it really can't affect you at all. In the neighbourhood crime case, you have to leave your house sometime.

Even then, I think an evangelical scientist likely wouldn't bother working on an experiment/in a field that strongly disagrees with some of their faith. They may try to craft an experiment to prove their faith, but that's fin

Some of the greatest scientific discoveries in history were made by people thinking they were glorifying god by doing their work. Faith and science go together just fine, and I say this as a hard atheist.

Personally I'd call a crime inspired by political views a hate crime and I would hope the courts would as well. If not, i'd be open to defining it that way.

Do hate crimes against trump voters count? Because I have seen those have been reported as well.

I am a layperson as well but as I understand it the brain cells have not died in a brain dead patient, rather there is no sign of communication as you said. As far as any thoughts of restarting communication, I have no idea.

Quite frankly, from their marketing(their home page doesn't even seem to mention meditation!) it looks kind of dumb and seems expensive after the 10 day trial. However, with all the good ratings here and elsewhere and wanting to start

The article actually makes the point (not in the clickbait title) that gen Xers and even their parents are also spending more at restaurants and bars and less on groceries.

I guess if everyone was taught shorthand like everyone is taught regular writing that might work out. However, in the current world if you want other people to read your writing either good cursive or good print are your best bets. If you j

There is a single quote from a single lawyer and all it says is that he thinks it is a violation. There is nothing from the lawyer concerning targeted advertising specifically. From my point of view, he saw the UI screenshot and screamed th
