Sweden stopped expanding the exploitation of that natural resource in the 1960s. Most of it has been exploited already, but I think there is one additional river that could be utilized, but the plan to do that was shot down in 1970. With to

The bigger "problem" for Sweden's power production is the modernized "fossil-free" steel production which will require (at least) a 50% total capacity increase over the coming decade or so. Data centers are a drop i

What I want to know: did they have to fill in their time reports in 8+ systems, one worse than the other? When I was a subcontractor, the most I had to do was 3 (customer and 2 consultancies), and even that was a major hassle.

The "some workloads" also apply for that. I don't know about DirectX, but the other ones might be doable as long as you create the project once in VS and then (for MFC and ATL) hand edit the normally tool-generated partial c

For many workloads (at least .NET), JetBrains Rider. For C/C++ on Windows, well, you have VS Code and also JetBrains CLion, but IMO CLion is surprisingly rougher than Rider, even though it's older. You can get stuff done though.

I'm glad you like that particular album. You used the word "trust". Just pointing out that you can't always trust the audio that was cut to vinyl to not just be the same old "loudness war" master. However, as s

I've heard JetBrains' IDEs have had performance problems on macOS forever from Mac users (is it because of the Java?). They work great on Windows and Linux in my experience.

I know a lot of people like XAML, but as a XAML skeptic (yes, I've had the misfortune to work with it professionally), maybe MS should take note that all XAML-based UI frameworks end up being unpopular outside of LOB apps and they keep

I've been using Android since Éclair (2.1) and Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) was the last version I was excited about. It's kind of like Word and Excel that were "finished" with v6.0 and v5.0 respectively.

Sure. For me, a 1440p 49" super ultrawide practically replaced 3 x 1440p 27" monitors even though it really only has the same amount of pixels as 2 of those monitors. Hard disagree on everything else in that article.
