That's a tired and specious argument that might have held water if Apple were only successful for a year or two. There are a myriad of devices from competitors who also had large marketing budgets but eventually disappeared into the ni

I found their bewilderment a little puzzling as well, but I believe it's due to the simplification of the last character. If you watch the older Canto/Traditional version of the video, the Japanese folk get the ramen part immediat

It sounds like you've experienced either just pure luck or that you've carefully selected your components (which degrades the "universality" claim), at least for the Switch, since it doesn't fully implement PD and c

Epic moved the pawn that resulted in a check. Apple built the board. Who's responsible? 'Round and 'round we go. Probably fairer to just refer to them as a tuple: "Apple/Epic ending Fortnite updates for Mac." V

I was hoping for completely independent Watch setup, but this is an interesting compromise. Lets parents that are wary of getting full blown smartphones for their children, but still lets them be connected.

Depends on what you're comparing against. With the web, as much as I enjoyed those days, your take seems a bit rose-tinted. Generally, finding official binaries wasn't too bad. "This website looks official" was the bar.

I'm guessing Apple's defense will be very similar to the author's own words, except a little less emotional: > Apple is using its monopoly to hold all of us hostage > Apple’s iOS controls 25% of the global smartphone ma

I find the Apple Maps navigation to be far more polished and human. Whenever they added "After the stop sign, at the next light turn right" made it my goto nav app. The search is still not great compared to Google Maps, though.
