Of note is that the developer "protection" clause in the 2009 version doesn't seem to be in the current version ("Otherwise, no refunds are available."): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/term...
My memory is fuzzy, but I recall there was pressure from the EU? regarding lack of refunds, so I'm guessing this was Apple's adaptation.
Regardless, it still clearly seems like the right thing to do is to refund the developer the 30%.
