You can code on it, design, edit photos, write books, sketch, edit videos... and a lot more with ease. For 3 years, I used only an iPad for work. Can you expand on your problems? Or was that a "it works differently on my beloved OS&quo

It's not that bad either. You can use Ergo as an IRC server, and The Lounge as a client to provide a pleasant experience for small teams without the setup hassle.

From my experience, most questions and answers are asked and solved in forum channels, which are quite easy to search for anything you need.

I think Discord has had a huge impact on Stack Overflow as there are many communities created for specific technologies, languages, frameworks, or topics, where most users can get answers from direct contributors or people who have the best

Looks like a new term for website optimisation? Which, more or less, anyone building anything online should do anyway. But forcing any environmental meaning behind in doesn't feel right. It's like sorting waste that will end up in

I think that more likely no one cares about this beside few tech-savvy users and they don't need a guide to do it.

This resource is great, but the saddest part is removing it from GitHub. I think it will hugely hit its visibility and create more of low quality copycats. For example, I rarely use my bookmarks or even check them out, but I constantly use

It’s still the best native UI design tool for macOS. And $99 per year is a great price for someone who uses it daily for design work, not so much for hobbyists. They could make a plan without all that cloud & collaboration stuff for hal

I’m doing all my development in the cloud for the last two years and never had any latency problems whatsoever. And it’s not about feature comparison to a laptop, even with a keyboard as MacBook Air M2 is better and cheaper than iPad. But e

A lot of companies are moving into development in cloud, for example GitHub. Which is a future for many use cases, and for which iPad is an ideal device to work with. > And you then still have to deal with keyboard issues.... What kind o

I, for example, read Books on iPad when there’s no connection, but with a cellular version that isn’t common. Yet, having mosh connection inside Blink is a blessing exactly for that purpose as I’m always going back to my stuff on desktop.

I love Affinity, but why on earth there’s no Hand tool in Designer on iPad? It is so frustrating to work with mouse and keyboard.

Isn’t community the single biggest advantage of Bloomberg Terminal? And no one is focusing on that, but on new fancy charts. That’s probably why Bloomberg doesn’t have real competition.

As a daily IRC user I can say this: IRC never was reliable. Constant attacks, splits, nick squatting or other crap ware pain in the ass. That’s why it never was adopted as a mainstream communication platform, and at its peak it had maybe 40
