Compare how much money google can make off ads in a month to $15. You’re paying for way, way, way more than just removing ads and it’s obvious

Comments on Mr. Somers aside, he clearly and explicitly already had a book club experience that frustrated him.

Ah, I see what you’re saying, and I am afraid I am out of my depth because this touches on a lot of maintainer intentions I can’t speak to. You are correct in implementation assumptions at least.

Customers do buy what they want relative to other products in the market, but absolute satisfaction could still be broadly low across the board. The incentive to fix commonly complained about problems is tied entirely to the speed to which

If by GC you’re referring to its reference counting, either by Rc or Arc, there is no GC reachability beyond the reference counting. The responsibility for counting the contained object and dropping (cleanup before dealloc) is up to the typ

Tbh I can’t even think of a place where competition solves user-friendliness—user friendly software is highly uncommon in commercial software, let alone more broadly (i’m eying you, canonical). There are a large number of user-hostile behav

I really think this is unreasonable. Even at google there are different subcultures, including many with an anti-corporate streak. Furthermore I’m not going to blame an employee for not sticking out their neck for client businesses who also

Presumably the grill temp itself is best addressed through the grill—you can mechanically attenuate gas very effectively and intuitively, plus you'd presumably be at the grill already. Personally I use charcoal because I like flavor. :
