I don’t think there’s any obligation for support. One can even disable GitHub issues. Or let community support itself by appointing comaints.

Btw, I've requested a demo on the site and the following happened: Got an automatic email to (1) fill out typeform, (2) book via Calendly. I did (1) and (2). Did not get any Calendly notifications / invitations. Nothing in junk ei

You can programmatically and securely get an embed URL and even pass parameters. There are SDKs and major framework support. For me that’s already great. :)

How does it compare to Amazon QuickSight which also has a pretty strong embedding story. Thank you.

We take credit cards for granted. Look into when and how they were invented, if you are really curious about technology. Credit cards have a really peculiar, fascinating and turbulent history. The original credit card was nothing like what

I’ve heard on JRE podcast recently that war games are always rigged to be lost so that generals can work harder at winning next time. Also probably to get more budgets.

I would generally agree with you, except: - as a self employed person you can pick your clients, if you are good - self employment often can be a path to something where you stop trading time for money. But it takes time to figure this out.

That’s the reason I truly adore and love Montreal. It’s the best city in Canada in my mind. If it wasn’t for the brutal winter, I think it’d be the best city in Canada by everyone’s view too.

Interesting. I always assumed that we were carnivore. I didn’t think it was still a contested science. Plants are more dangerous and poisonous than animals. Animals surely can kill you physically, but the risk is predictable. And can be sol

I use almost the same approach. I also limit access to just one IP, which is a VPN server hosted on a different cloud provider. You can run a bulletproof VPN server easily using something like algo ( https://github.com/trailo

If you look at it in the context of a company, then nanny is just an employee. If a company can have more revenue by employing a nanny then why not? It’s like saying having an office janitor is a luxury. It’s just a function, like any other

I think you are undervaluing the global market. Photoshop was $500+ one time fee. In many countries that’s a monthly salary. Most of those countries pirated Adobe products. By switching to subscription they made the barrier to entry lower a
