Growth is always good for the poor, as it is good for entire poor nations. The problem with modern capitalism though is that the rich benefit from growth to a greater extent compared to the rest. The gap is only widening. Then there's

This is exactly how I read reviews on Airbnb and Booking.com. "Great location, friendly staff" and nothing else almost definitely means a very shitty place at a nice location. Speaking of which, despite its horrible UI somehow I f

But that's my point: the reason it doesn't exist to date is the OS, not because nobody thought about it. I'm sure a lot of people did, some even tried to build a device. A more lightweight and efficient OS would make it more

Been thinking along the same lines. The reason dockable mobile computers still don't exist is more to do with software than hardware. I believe all mainstream OS's we have today, coming from the pre-mobile era are simply not suita

Even the UK keyboard can drive you nuts if you are an engineer and you are used to the US one. The Enter key has a different shape, the backtick and the backslash are placed differently.

Years ago I made an attempt at a UI that wouldn't even require repositioning the phone in your hand: the buttons are literally under your thumb (if you forgive my shameless self-plug): https://apps.apple.com/us/app
