I've been really happy with Claros Mail: http://www.claros.org/web/showProduct.do?id=1 Way nicer than SquirrelMail.

Good info, however CacheFly plans seem to top out at 1,200 GB/month (unless you want to pay overages), this seems really low. If you're running a site where you really need a super fast CDN, it seems like you could burn through 1,200 GB ve

I'm a Prime customer, and I love it. I buy way more on Amazon than I used to, and I find it very convenient. It pays for itself on Christmas shopping alone. This could be a smart move. I've often thought about a Kindle, but never really

I have never signed a contract/non-compete/IP agreement without making a number of edits to it first. So far I've always been able to get it changed to something that works for me.

No you don't. It upgrades in place by pulling down files and updating itself. And you don't need to let it write to your whole webroot, just to the wordpress install directory.

For the last couple of years, you can just click an "Upgrade" link in your admin and it just upgrades itself painlessly. It also lets you know in the admin Dashboard when there's a new version out to upgrade to. Honestly it seems like the

My bad. I was confused. Actually I have my companies accountants handle all the taxes, so I don't have to keep much awareness of how income taxes work. I probably should, but I don't need to, since I pay them to do it:)

I'm right there on that line. Honestly I pay a TON of taxes already. Very high rate, lots of taxable income. Cutting back to be under 250k would probably make more sense than making 255k and paying a lot more in taxes. I don't mind taxes

The market is people like myself I guess. I'd like something I can leave in the living room or bedroom and be able to surf the web or check e-mail without being limited to my iphone screen. It would also be wonderful for plane trips. My 17"

:) I think the biggest problem in the industry is that many of the "young people" (I'm still young, dammit!) don't really want to learn or be mentored. Seems like there's a slew of folks in the junior to mid-level developer arena who got

I absolutely agree that if you like coding, don't ever stop. It will also make you a better architect. In my experience, large companies who use Rational will have their architects buried in Rose building UML and writing 150+ page docs all

As a software architect for the last ~10 years I have to disagree. His point seems to be that if you get a job as a software architect you'll end doing nothing but meetings and creating UML diagrams. I'm sure there are places like that, I

You mean a train station? Yes I would. Blowing up a plane/train/stadium/airport security waiting line/etc... is easy. The "real" risk I guess is people using jets full of fuel as flying missiles. However, post-9-11, no passengers will pe
