100% this. JIRA is bad because it encourages managers to use it to do stupid things, not because it’s inherently bad software.

They stopped making their own panels in 2016. They still make TVs - I know you know this but you comment is confusing. Mine is also pre-2016 and pretty decent.

Mostly of the “smart” features on my Panasonic are now dead. Netflix still works, YouTube kinda works and that’s about it. It’s frustrating but it’s hard to see how to get around it. Long term support is very expensive and tv sales in the

Yeah, way back when (early 2000s?) it was a streaming personalised radio and it worked fine, at least in the UK.

Pandora decided a few years back to block international users. I don’t know if they’ve changed this - I haven’t bothered to go back.

“Liberals can view it as a wealth tax”. Not really, a tax is something that the government levies on everyone subject to some tax code. What is suggested is not a tax because it’s entirely optional - you’re not paying a tax you’re buying a

Some people will. A lot of people don't know about online privacy or simply don't care. Also Apple phones are expensive.

I didn't think TR069 normally works in bridge mode? It doesn't on my ZyXEL VMG1312-B10A anyway. Have to take it out of bridge mode to let the ISP mess with it. I'm with A&A (in the UK) though and they don't massively

There’s always some drama. Maybe not of the must-care-about but there’s always something. The ASLR patch comes to mind, as does the KSE / libthr thing. Equally there have been some very grown up moments. The Matt Dillon / Dragonfl

IMHO trolling is bad by definition. But it doesn’t really matter whether you consider it the goodies or baddies, it’s still a form of shutting down speech.

As the parent poster states, it’s subjective. If your criteria is privacy then Google Maps and search are definitely not best in class.

Sure, if we could improve the driving of those at the bottom then safety would be even better. I think the point the article is trying to make is that it’s already pretty good.

I guess that’s my question, was the Cell fundamentally bad or was it just too new, different and hard to adopt? If it’s the latter then building the PS4 on the cell as well should have been fine as by that point it’s a well-known and well-u

I know it was a pain to code for initially but once the tooling got better was it really that bad? The Cell still seems like an awesome piece of kit. Had the PS4 been a PS3 with a new GPU and a clocked up Cell with an extra PPE would that h
