We saw the same in London after the 2012 riots. Instead of stopping the rioting and looting the police let it go on and then took all the cctv and arrested the perpetrators after the event. It’s lazy policing, hundreds of shops got damaged

Chesley Sullenberger had a pretty high profile accident but I think I’d still prefer to fly with him at the controls (if he hadn’t retired). I don’t think this is a good metric to measure pilots by.

Indeed. LUKS key on tpm2 with secure boot with /boot on encrypted seems anything but easy to setup. I also complicate things by making everything apart from efi on zfs.

I think you (and many others) are confusing a right to freedom of speech with a right to publication. Publishers and editors have been deciding on people's behalf what should and should not be published for hundreds of years. You might

Twitter is still up significantly from just one year ago. Investors expect the odd blip, and this isn't the only one in the last 6 months. Long term they've done well, so they're happy. They're not going to start asking

Jack had every right, it’s his website. He pays for it, so he gets to decide what appears on it. The same would apply to anyone else running a website. This is not a new idea.
