Uh, you're using spot instances. If you want to get an instance quickly, either increase the max price you're willing to pay or use a normal instance.

If you haven't already, consider making the user-facing portions of the service easily localized and translated. I can see myself pitching this service to a client but the UI for end users can't be in English only.

Yeah, I'm sure you're doing this to gauge the interest before writing the paper but you really need to improve the wording of the email. I clicked a link with a PDF icon saying "Download the PDF file", if there is no PDF file you should exp

As is apparent from my profile, I live in Scandinavia as well. You are mistaken at best and knowingly spreading FUD (lying) at worst when you say that. What is well known is that Carl Lundström has been involved in some groups with very unp

Looks like MrFoof and erlanger posted at the same moment so I'll reply to myself. Your explanation makes complete sense. Thanks! It would be interesting to use this in reverse: claim that you meant hourly rate when discussing salary. "Oh, y

Great story, but do you really mean you got your annual salary per HOUR? Perhaps you meant per month? Still awesome, of course, but within the realm of reason :-)

Something I think would be very useful: recurring tasks that allow anyone in the company/team to complete them, or with round-robin assignment. Would be used for those things that have to be done but nobody wants to do them.

Good idea, but what would you be prepared to pay for it? I think this is something a hotel chain should do as a value add, otherwise the cost would be too high. To do it independently I would still partner with hotels and offer a complete p
