Honestly I wish they wouldn't try to compete on price. Maybe I'm alone with this, but I'd rather not feel obligated to tip a driver because the ride is so cheap. Pay them a living wage, let me pay the exact fee, and let me no

Quite literally nothing has happened with Brexit yet -- other than the vote itself. "Doomsayers Stumble[d]" is a far conclusion to draw from the aftermath of an event that hasn't yet come to pass.

I used Pool last night in the city. Took me from the Fidi to Inner Richmond. $2.37. It was almost cheaper than Muni. I can't imagine the drivers are making much at all .

I am convinced that superlative trees are cursed. The oldest tree in the world was killed while being dated (a core sample killed it). The most isolated tree in the world was hit by a drunk driver. The (2nd?) largest tree in the world was s

With a first past the post system, you will not see a third party win without one of the two main parties disintegrating (a la the Whigs in 1856). Stein cannot win. Johnson cannot win. I'm not making advance declarations; it is simply

Gullah is a neat language. I came across a website that had a Gullah translation of the bible -- at first glance it looks unintelligible, but when you read it out loud it makes complete sense (as a native english speaker): http://

Certainly there is teamwork in many films, but I feel in traditional films that teamwork is to work towards the common goal of 'freedom' (abstractly). In this Star Trek movie, it came down to a struggle of power vs (explicitly) &q
