Yes, agreed, having used it for 3 months on now, it replaces the visual affordances of shadows, shading, and textures with physics and animation. My key learning so far from building something iOS7-native is that the closer you can make it

That's fair, but I think there's more than one causal factor. Of course, the rise in programming in culture plays a role, but I think David Malan might be more important—I shopped CS50 the year before he started and took it a year
