Aggressive taxes create a black market for goods. To protect the tax revenue the govt must be aggressive about prosecuting unlicensed operators who do not pay taxes. This is counter to the social politics of wanting to end the war on drugs.

The purpose of parallel construction is to not disclose the actual methods used by law enforcement because they may be illegal and/or disclose sources of information that they would like to keep confidential. It only needs to be minima

I think the problem for the artist is that the demand for tickets far exceeds supply. Imagine if the only way to see Bad Bunny is to pay $5000/ticket. I’m fairly confident large artists could sell out at these prices. The problem is yo

While the arguments are repetitive this isn’t a culture war. The EU made its bed (or more likely, imported it) and now has to sleep in it. Deindustrialization has been ongoing.

As crazy as it sounds 2.5hr of exercise per week is not a crazy expectation to care for one’s health.

Money is a huge motivator. Aside from the fact that $100 check every month can directly subsidize healthier food choices.

Weight is a proxy for all sorts of related diet issues. You can lose weight on a Twinkie diet and not be metabolically healthy at the same time. A healthy diet requires more than just the appropriate caloric intake. Although that’s a great

Some questions: did she go low sugar in that period? How many sodas did she drink before she backslid? I would drink at least 48oz per day. I stopped eating things with added sugar. Now a lemonade is too sweet for me. But if I drink 3-4 sod

Doesn’t feel like it to me. I eat 2000-2500cal/day and try to maintain 3500-4500cal burn(1hr lifting, 1hr peloton bike, 1.5hr hike daily). I keep my cardio around 140-145bpm so pretty leisurely. Increasing intensity just made me hungri

Manufactured a bit more than just cannabis over the years. Made everything from centrifuged orange juice for screwdrivers(the beverage) to some synthesis work. There was a 100-person business at one point and this is the remains.

I had 10,000sqft of belongings up until a few months ago. About 100 stainless tables, 50 office chairs, desks, maybe 100+ racks, 20 chillers, 5 rotovaps, maybe 1000 beakers, etc. At this point I’m just giving away chromatography gear, HPLC

These are the mainstream e-cigs. Vape shops pushing disposables is still a big market. There will be no new cigarette companies. As long as you continue the whack-a-mole against new entrants your customer base is protected. Altria surely d

Depends entirely on the regulatory framework. Up until now crypto has been largely unregulated. With regulatory I don’t think it will be as volatile/attractive.
