Valid point, also amusing that everyone focuses on the trivial part of syntax over the difficulty of the environment it lives in.

Heh, this is the truth. Most of the difficulty of learning Swift I think will lie in learning Cocoa. Just like Objective-C that.

Indeed, I don't get why people focus on Apple in this regard so much. I've seen some rather egregious examples from every company. Its an internal developer thing meant to get developers developing on the platform. Almost everyone

The stack heap is a bit of a jab at the harvard architecture in general. I see memristors as being closer to a Von Neumann architecture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Von_Neumann_architecture Even then its not a perfect

What don't you buy about them being the fourth fundamental circuit type? Its mathematically provable, proven in the 60's actually. Here watch this for a decent introduction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKGhvKyj

Ah, makes sense then. What I've seen (mind you this is mostly Suse), is that by adjusting the sys call buffer size I can get ext4/3 to reach pretty good performance. Generally though I hate having 1 million + entries in a director

Actually, the cool bit about memristors is that you could treat them like both a transistor for computation or for memory, or flip. Like an fpga. So imagine the difference in an operating system that could retain its running image between r

Actually that is a libc issue. It only reads in 32k of directory entries at a time. If you compile your own lame ls implementation and read in say a 1 meg buffer vs 1024 bytes at a time, you can print out directories with over 4 million ent

I think you're missing this is building off of other things that are meant for games like scene kit etc.... The language isn't tailored to it, but there are things it makes easy that are. If that makes any sense.

The thing is you can synchronize tmux selection with your clipboard, there isn't really a need for tmux to "support" your terminal's view of tmux running within.

If you use a mouse yeah, but as noted by others, with tmux 1.8+ just prefix-z and you can temporarily zoom that one pane. So there really isn't much reason to complain about this particularly.

Huh copy/paste works fine with vertical splits. Just setup tmux to sync your tmux clipboard with your regular x (or osx if you're into that kind of thing) clipboard. You mean selecting text with a mouse on a vertical split? If so
