You won't get much speed up using SIMD for such a simple task. You'll be memory bandwidth limited.

1. That hasn't happened on Android. It won't happen on iOS. 2. That's a you problem. Learn to say no. 3. You already have to adhere to lots of government regulations.

It is a replica of Amazon Simple Workflow as far as I can see. Which is not a bad thing, SWF is great and does not get much attention.

Yeah we gave our 6 month old peanut butter and ended up in hospital. This happened during the Covid lockdowns so it was quite scary. The recommendation here is to give them the food and see if they are allergic. I'm not sure I would fo

One thing that has always bothered me is parents trying to justify sleep training as a positive for the child. The reason parents do it is for their own benefit.

Yes what you are referring to is implemented already by Google and probably others. The Google camera uses it to skip demosaicking by shifting the image by a pixel using OIS. Still the original post was under the impression that hundreds of

It does not take hundreds of exposures. That is impractical and above all not a good idea. In low light the shutter speed is likely slow (1/10th of a second for a example). Even 16 frames is more than a seconds worth of frames. At that

The RAW images from the iPhone have been processed. From my limited testing they're not really RAW anymore. They've been demosaiced and noise reduction has already been applied.

There are tons of different Polish mustard's that are really nice as well. They are very easy to find in the UK. I'm sure that would be the case in the US as well if you know where to look.

It sounds like you've gone from one extreme to another. None of the things you mention pale in comparison to software engineering at all. They are all solvable problems that many people can do. Sometime they are difficult, often they a

That is the exact same study that was reported on weeks ago. There isn't any new information and that study is flawed. You can refer back to discussions on it from weeks ago.
