Did I say it was good documentation because it was in a simple format? No. It’s good documentation because it’s thorough, well-organized, and comes with lots of examples. That it’s a man page has nothing to do with it (except for the conven

Right, but passing it to atoa() (unless it’s a macro? I didn’t check) seems redundant and deoptimizes.

Why is atoa() being used on arguments? You can pass an arguments object to apply(). It even avoids deoptimization (at least on V8), IIRC. (No explanation at https://github.com/bevacqua/react-dragula/commit/916

I don’t want to get into the whole conspiracy thing here, so I’ll just point out that you’re saying he’s the 5th or 6th famous vocal Trump supporter banned, but you only listed two other people, one of whom (Yiannopoulos) is kind of well kn

Who really knows how that happened? I doubt it was a conscious decision by Twitter. Maybe an automatic shadowban occurs after a certain number of reports while awaiting staff review, and people figured out how to abuse that feature.

It is extremely well documented in `man systemd.service` and `man systemd.unit`. Read the option descriptions in the section pertaining to what you want to do of each, look at the examples, and you should be good to go.

Sounds like the options are the same. Note that it isn’t some kind of Vim standard that j shouldn’t be used repeatedly, just this author’s opinion. I do it all the time.

Wait, how’s this different from Vim? You can use :<number> to go to a line and C-o to return to where you were.

Run setxkbmap in your .xinitrc if applicable: setxkbmap -option caps:escape Linux desktop environments’ keyboard configuration tools should also let you do this.

I prefer remapping Caps Lock to Escape. Ctrl is already positioned pretty conveniently.

“make and npm” doesn’t sound overcomplicated. It sounds like someone didn’t take the time to find out what they were working with, didn’t really need to because it’s not their area, and decided to have an opinion about it anyway.

1,400 years is really small compared to the history of life on Earth. It doesn’t seem all that unlikely that other planets might have had millions of years of head start.

It’s not as if existing tools disappear once they stop being maintained. Use whatever you like that lets you get the job done. (New CoffeeScript is dying out, for example, but it’s easy to learn if you need to maintain an existing project i

What’s “because” CSS is Turing complete? Anyway, this implementation could be done using a DFA (because it’s not actually computing primes with CSS).

But it’s a completely straightforward use of :nth-child, so not really that fun or deep of an experiment (yes, just an opinion). I was hoping for something at least as interesting as prime-testing backreferences /^(..+)\1+$/.

Yes, it is. Almost-arbitrary boolean expressions vs. completely straightforward and obvious use of a CSS selector.

The defaults are actually fine; don’t worry. You don’t need to set a passphrase for your key, you don’t need to run an agent. Just ssh-keygen -t ed25519 and paste your public key into ~/.ssh/authorized_keys. `-t ed25519`

Firefox 49 supports background-clip: text, but thanks to these changes, the safest pattern to use to get it working in Firefox is still the -webkit one! color: #0dd; background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(to right, #0cf, #0fc);

With zsh, you can tab-expand history… expansion. (Despite this, I also still prefer up-arrow and ^R, since it’s usually faster to ^A and Alt-B/F than to figure out the right way to reference history.)

Rolling releases and usability seem completely unrelated. It takes time to work on UX, sure; how is a rolling release interfering with that? It should do the opposite, really, by not applying the same pressure by nature to have the design f
