I assume that most hardcore bitcoin enthusiasts are morons but I guess there's a possibility that some legitimately evil early bitcoin adopters out there pushing bitcoin so that they can sell out of their positions at favorable prices.

One great thing about bit coin is that all the metadata is available to everyone. You would be hard pressed to make a fancy chart like this with fiat currency.

Feds confiscates bit coins. Bit coin supply is reduced. Price of bit coins goes up. Simple economics. Thanks feds. Has anyone figured out a good way to invest pre-tax 401k money into bit coin? My portfolio is doing alright but I'd like

That's pretty cool analysis. Do you think the high proportion of English relative to other non-native languages could be related to the general affluence of Apple users? It would be interesting to see how these ratios stack up relative

The only thing I'm knowledgable about is disrupting corrupt, inefficient industries/governments. I will send you a note as soon as the API is ready. There will be an API endpoint you can use to send me bit coins.

You want to borrow bit coins so that you can improve your business and then pay back the coins with increased profits due to the improvements. Isn't that obvious? I'm not interested in dollars because I don't think they are p

Now that I have a huge stash of bit coins I was thinking of making a service/startup where you could lend out your bit coins to people who would agree to pay you back a slightly higher number of coins in the future. Kind of like a bank

In our example, if Fred didn't look at the book and decides to put in a buy for $10.05, he'll get his 10 shares at $10.05 and Pete would make out like a bandit and the price would briefly shoot up to $10.05. There is no market i

I'm not too worried about this since you can be pretty sure the aggrieved will probably be able to track down the thief by examining the block chain. That is one nice thing about bit coin: it exists outside financial regulation and so

Sell side analyst recommendations are a complete joke. They are basically trailing indicators (i.e. price drops and then the sell recommendations come out). I don't think anyone takes them seriously.
