I sold all my stocks and bought into crypto currencies since they're the next big thing. I even opened up a new credit card to leverage up since you can't get a proper margin account on Mount Gox. I'll be able to pay off my mortgage in a few months at this rate! I suggest everyone wait a couple of days and then do the same thing so that I'll have someone to sell to when I need to realize my profits.

- nickff 13y agoSpeculation is a common strategy, you may win or lose, but believing that it is a 'sure thing' is a bet that markets are irrational, where risk/return models do not apply. You may be right, but this has never been proven, despite ample efforts.

Only by selling to people who, at least in my opinion, are likely to lose their shirts. Besides, BitCoin isn't unique in the "If I had only bought this years ago!" case. Apple made lots of millionaires, too.
