"offering advice" is different than removing her from play and taking over. If someone bumped you off a game and took over treating you like an invalid how happy would you be. Poor tactic even for flirting. And it's a business conference

I think asking the user to use tech that is less than 5 years old is more reasonable then specifying 1 version and resolution. And in those days there barely was a browser that was over 5 years old.

I love the inherent schizophrenia in the US political system. They are so in love with anti censorship technologies when employed against countries they don't like, like in China or Arab Spring, even going so far as to help develop the tech

This isn't an article, it's a PR narrative of how they'd like things to look now and how they'd like it to go. It's an ad.

I think in cases like what Wine is trying to do (reimplement/reverse engineer) you want "clean" engineers, not "tainted" ones. So I think that having their devs look at the windows source code might be the last thing they want. http://en

And did you miss the protests NYC and America at large threw when an Islamic mosque was proposed near WTC? Not exactly the bastion on openness and religious equality either :/

So when senseless atrocities are committed the proper response isn't outrage and attempts to fix problems but to sit by quietly and "respectfully"? Yes it's a damn tragedy he is dead. I'm pissed off and angry about it. Was it preventable?

That's a pretty narrow and shallow way to look at it. For one thing, over time guns would become harder to get. Fine some people will always brake the laws. But at least maybe school children would stop shooting each other to death in schoo

How about looking to maybe make this an even more unlikely anomaly? How about learning from "our" (society) mistakes? As a whole, when we hurt our self, should we just be sad and move on and do it again and again, or should we learn and ta

Does any one else find it sad the question is about bullet proof glass and not controlling guns? The last place I was that someone I knew had bullet proof glass in their car was Colombia. Are the American's here happy with this comparison

And this is why other nations have gun control laws. I think the rest of us are continually scratching our heads at the proliferation of unregulated guns in the US when they fairly clearly cause so many obvious problems. The article skirt

Maybe we should think of this more as a supplement to the existing US published on on hundreds of other countries while omitting themselves. Of course it's a bit hypocritical but a) that's sort of the point, where does the US get off writin

Also for reference, it's not like this "narative" is remotely new. It was one of the central plot points of 1999's Fight Club. And it wasn't new or revolutionary then either.

Unbelievable alarmist crap we've been hearing forever. Is it even newsworthy that CNN is pedaling this junk? Also kind of sexist. Girls can play video games and watch porn too. Why are "guys" so special and only their demise news worthy?

There are some very solid reasons for all the banking regulation, and we're seeing them played out here. People are treating these places like banks, storing hundreds of thousands of dollars with them, but they have none of the regulations
