Its hard to organically grow a product on its own without network effect. If you think you are better off just working on product then consider affiliates. They will do this thing for you. You will have to price your product accordingly to

Read books. See what works for you. The firs thing is to decide acquisition method. Inbound or outbound? Inbound is great if you are well known inthe space. Else it's slow. If you don't have a large network reach out to people.

The product could find a market with privacy conscious Parents. So I wont call it a dead end yet. Though an extremely tough market to crack, something drop box realised early on and moved out of photo business
