I would just like to politely argue that reference counting cannot be considered a form of garbage collection, at all. The discriminating factor is that in a GC world there is, well to put it bluntly, a garbage collector. A garbage collecto

There is no comparison to the two though. RubyMotion is about writing native apps where PhoneGap is not.

Could be. But, again, they can use iPads and other random tablets, cheap PCs bought from anywhere on the internet, flea market computer mice and keyboards, cheap flatscreen tv's for the wall, etc. and that doesn't seem to be a pro

Darn, you beat me to it! Recommended! It was a good one. I'd like to add that if you want to read the transcripts or get an mp3 of it, the archive page is here: https://www.grc.com/securitynow.htm

Yeah, I got an update yesterday that my credit card info was no longer valid and had to enter a new one. Guess I must have replaced the card since then. I hope I get mine in a timely manner. I'm glad I am not the only one who hasn'

I am so looking forward to getting mine. I ordered the thing in August of last year. Guess they didn't like my application for a touch free interface for some hospital software I've worked on to get me an early development device.

More people drive Toyota than BMW. More people eat at McDonalds than Five Guys. More people stay at a Holiday Inn than The Ritz Carlton. The statement is worthless as it conveys no meaning, other than a factoid, as do my statements.

Thanks! Great response. Too many people arguing about nothing. I wish I had those skills. I'm a software engineer and am in no way a designer. I've mucked with so many design tools throughout my career and it just never really c

Looks like you are good with apple as they extended your account's renewal date due to the outage. On another note... This is getting strange now.

Just to clarify, the is no synching. The file requests are on demand. Only the metadata (oh, there is that word again) would appear when listing a file/folder. Just like the rest of the net. It's not a synchronization service but

I hope it's something good. But, my guess is it won't be anything noticeable. Replacing that horrible Jive forum software would rock as it's awful.

I'd never seen MacBuildServer.com until just now but they completely violate the terms of service with Apple. They are using their enterprise development certificate to bypass the AppStore. They won't be around long.
