I think what's going on in those cases is that people are heavily invested in Twitter, believing their bulk audience is there, but (understandably) want to hedge their bets. Lots of them are posting the same stuff to both Twitter and M

Complete nonsense. Smart cars (to pick just one counterexample) meet those standards without being big or looking angry.

I think what will sink Twitter will be if Mr Musk goes ahead with his plan (as he's stated) to have "blue tick" tweets all float to the top while deprecating tweets from non-paying users. In my world $8/month seems an

Why do so many cars look so angry ? Big front grilles that look like a growling, howling maw full of teeth, bulging, muscular body shaping... It's like car designers all got together and decided that aggressive-ugly is a good look. I

That's cool for you. For the rest of us, however, it would be terribly simple for Github to provide a profile/account setting that allows people to opt out -- perhaps on a per-repo level as well as per-account. Yet they don't

Well, YES! since so much of the tech industry has a triangular thing that they insist is a wheel and obstinately refuse to engage with those round things, despite the round things having been around for quite a long time. (I'm talk
