The catharsis of screaming into the void. I’ve retired most of my shitposting accounts this summer though which was my other reason (the main one) for posting online.

I remember back in the days when I went to art school parties showing up to a party sober and finding everyone incredibly annoying. Then I… took steps to align my serotonergic system to the mood of the room (I showed up 45m late) and it tur

You have to remember that Canada is not a monolith. Quebec is rather nationalistic for historical reasons. In ways both productive and pathological IMO. I won’t get into it as an Anglo and immigrant but I encourage you to visit QC some time

(As an elder cusper due to being terminally online for 15 years) 2020s pop culture so far is miles better than what we had in the early 2010s and IMO the 20 year olds are far more tolerable than they were when I was 20. All the complaints a

Compare with SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT and other intelligence sources. I believe it’s military/intelligence terminology but you see it in security jargon too.

I didn’t like when they removed the dislike counts, and I still don’t like it. When I look for videos of folks working on Subarus, I don’t want to have to manually scrub through the video to gauge the quality. Before I’d just look at the ra

Oh that’s really cool! Seems like it’s just a well designed chair for most heights. I agree on all of your points. Bless the designers for saving our back/knees/hips etc!

I wish I was a little bit more able to comfortably sit on an average office chair. I recommend the Haworth Very for taller folks. At the max height my femurs actually sit slightly above the horizontal plane containing my knees so I don’t fe

I don’t know but I’d probably reach out to other co-ops to see how they solve the freeloader problem. Co-ops exist in industries that require more management than SWE, no reason it couldn’t work for devs too. Plus, if your first and primary
