This reminds me of how satire has a short life cycle. For later generations it becomes difficult to see the difference between the parody and thing "being parodied".

I agree with his point. > people with greater humility have superior... It's a contradiction in terms. It makes humility look like a tool. One could instead just say "try to be humble".

Yes, Toyota is one of the best performing car companies in the world. I don't know what the parent comment is referring to either. By the way, my only criticism against Toyota would be that their cars don't always seem to keep up

How would you do it without using screen, or bots as you say?

You can use the log command and then run in on a screen instance. This may be inconvenient for some people, but for me this is a feature.

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: My colleagues don't want to so I use it mostly for forums. Some programming languages have chat channels and I have heard that for open source dev it is still somewhat common but I suspect it is declinin

A common topic, and not without controversy for sure, I can see both arguments for and against remote working. The only addition I would like to make is that an employer should try to take into account the personal situations of their emplo

So yes, what I am saying is I appreciate the arguments around practicality, urgency and time frames; at the same time I see a lot of institutional inertia . A basket of technologies is to me a better determinator for progress (or shift ,

In South Africa at this point I am more excited about air-to-hydrocarbon technology than electric cars. Personally I would love an electric car, but long travel distances and issues with our state owned utility make modular (powered by sola

This is an early paper by Mac Lane that lead to interesting results (such as abelian categories) and paved the way for the notion of categorical duality in early category theory. Interestingly, he did not cover the case of (not necessarily

In this vein, are there any company's currently selling viable compostable/biodegradable plastics? I know there is a big drive for straws, but packaging of fruit, vegetables (and food) is an important target as well.

It seems like it is a simple concept that you are getting at. Authoritarians want te prevent other seats of power. It makes me wonder about what the growing Chinese middle class wants . EDIT: But back to the question. I think the answers m

The article covers quite a few topics in set theory so that suggests that it does provide for advanced topics. If you mean advanced proofs, again the article may be the right place to start.

That's really interesting. When working under constrainst people get creative. I think it just happend so that most computers that I've worked on don't handle RAR by default so I never knew the background.

Cool, I think that does answer my question. You do both, but the feasibility part is in the form of hardware assumptions that don't comment on the current or future state of hardware.
