I think the new design: https://twitter.com/twitter is pretty ugly and puts the author's bio and URL in an odd place. The banner image will interfere with that text and make it difficult to read. I'm curious why they didn't roll out this

This should be an option that could be turned off if the premium user wishes.. It should also be set that if the premium user is following the free user the mention would go through normally.

I agree, I don't get the appeal either. I never use it on my 13" MBP, whether it's just the laptop or if I have it set up with an external 24" as a second monitor. On my 27" iMac the only time I have a window maximized is when I have iPhoto

I have that, too. It is very cool and it's fuuny to watch some people get confused when I give out my address and it's not something they recognize like gmail or yahoo.
