Rider is commercial only as well and not expensive at all. I guess MS compensates from other services (Azure) when you build an app with free VS against them.

Yes and much more like DebuggerVisualizerAttribute which allows you to present data in any possible way. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/debugger/crea...

Highly unlikely that you would gain that much just by upgrading. What kind of an app is anyway?

Starting at $130,000 no less. I'll stick with my prusa MK2 for a little bit longer.

I don't know. But Facebook owns around 5200 patents. Add the previous patent clause to it and you have a good probability that there are patents covering parts of react. VirtualDOM is certainly a candidate.

I'd really like to see that written black on white, though.

But do the others have explicit patents?

But does MIT license really solve all patent issues? FB could still enforce patents regardless of license if I understood it properly.

Don't forget Visual Studio for Mac (improved MonoDevelop improved Xamarin Studio)

I really don't understand the "Components" chapter. XAML has both declarative approach and components. Besides if anybody is into Delphi, there is also RemObjects worth looking at.

OTOH anybody can reverse engineer it. Just a tad bit more work.

Definitely positive for everybody. An example (Slovenia) is a new package from A1(Vodafone) with 15GB everywhere in EU without limits for 20€. Previously was like 22€ for 4GB local only.

I was under impression that Apple regularly beats Android with hardware. CPU, GPU, screen, touch hardware (not sure lately for these two) and others I'm sure.

Well, Intel introduced HAXM a long time ago. It made it run quit faster.

Also other virtualization hosts on the desktop don't have this problem at all. You can run all of the others at the same time.

It'd make sense if Hyper-V wasn't monopolistic. You can't run both at the same time, or better, no other virtualization host is allowed when Hyper-V is on. Which sucks.

I suggested an improvement and got back an email. https://blog.rthand.com/post/2017/05/02/good-bye-visual-stud...

Which is, sadly, discontinued. It's still available for download though but the latest OS is 6.0 and many versions missing.

I've deployed some webapi projects using docker. Very straightforward. I assume it should work nice if deployed directly.

Actually rebranded MonoDevelop rebranded Xamarin Studio. But with support for .net core which brings amazing power to non-windows.

Let's says someone sent them important documents and they wouldn't publish them for no obvious reason. Don't you think the source wouldn't try other channels and/or go public with Wikileaks behavior?

While you certainly can, it isn't legal to do so. Plus it might not work very well.

You are saying that Wikileaks has a ton of other documents but won't publish them? Based on what exactly?

Send them documents and they will publish them if legit.
