Interesting point. Could you recommend something to read about this topic, or maybe you have some writeups of your own? Mainly interested about the correlation between quantum mechanics and the problem of consciousness.

Why do you have to slow it to 0 to hit the sun? Can't you just cruise at whatever speed you're cruising and redirect it with thrusters towards the sun?

It's a bit unclear, is the site stored on Cloudflare and served from there using workers? Is there a storage limit?

Pihole is just a GUI on top of dnsmasq, they're not doing anything fancy, apart maybe for the extra statistics. These are some interesting ideas for improvement, I'd also be interested in something with more flexibility, but I

Why "for beginners" ? (from github repo description) Having a clean and easy to use UI doesn't necessarily mean it's targeted at beginners.

Is there any cost reduction of using this method, compared to buying bitcoin from a regular exchange? As I recall taking money in and out of the LN channels still costs the blockchain transaction fee.

Interesting concept. But I can't find any games, maybe add an option to play with bots.

Seems like it’s currently limited to only taking screenshots and videos and providing wiki information. It would be pretty slick if you could issue game commands with it, like ‘Open my inventory’ or ‘Show map’

Thanks, much better. The posted article is insanely slow and clogged by ads (over 600 http requests)

Cool project, but why engage in language flame war on the project readme: > I think Scala is the best mainstream language with a sophisticated type system. Sophisticated type systems are money in the bank. Going from TypeScript to Scala

That seems correct. On top of that, if you ever need to choose more than half, you choose n-k first then reverse the set. Could it be that the distribution condition is not satisfied? Although I don’t see how. The article could’ve explained

Nice! But consider adding some pagination or grouping them in different sections. The page loads pretty slow on desktop and it's pretty much dead on mobile.

Totally agree, there's some degree of arrogance, especially in that section of the article. Maybe it's unintended, developers are not always good at PR.

Does anyone have more background on the mod_php vs mod_perl problems he highlighted here: https://youtu.be/wCZ5TJCBWMg?t=599 . I found it interesting but didn't quite grasp the explanation. If mod_perl was too powerful

Is FTL a roguelike though? The thing about roguelikes is that they’re turn-based, while FTL requires some micromanagement skills being closer to real-time strategies. You can still pause of course, but I’ve seen some Twitch streamers make n

They're capitalizing on existing concenpts, there's hardly any innovation here. The only novelty factor is that now you can run smart contracts on a stable coin, which is not possible with the existing stable coins in the market.

On top of that it's likely that they'll run a fractional reserve scheme, meaning that only a small portion of the coins will be backed by real currency at any given time. I haven't found any reference to this in their paper,

Watched some Youtube yesterday, it kept showing me the same freaking ad for like 20 times in a row. Sometimes I get the same 2-3 ads for weeks at a time. Not sure what's the idea, if you're going to show ads at least make it a bar
