Fun fact: "Generous amount of vacations every year (5-6 weeks)" corresponds with European employment standards :). I have 28 days + Christmas Eve + New Year's Eve (+ bank holidays), which is not particularly exceptional in Ge

Here's a better translation of a passage that made me particularly irate: "On Christmas Eve 2012, the NSA eavesdropped and stored about 13 million telephone connections" Merry Christmas, German friends.

The problem is that twitter went into the only ID business. People might not use twitter to tweet, but to log into other services. Of course, direct messages also come into play.

(Slightly) OT: The "Y U NO STOP COOL FEATURES?" image is a total turnoff to me. It devalues the product.

Maybe he meant "which no one [of the OEMs] wants"? I would love to buy laptops et al. with good Linux support. In fact, I once bought a glorious Dell XPS M1330 ... with a horribly outdated Ubuntu install.

I think local-centric newspapers could generally gain a lot from developing a community of customers, be it via FB/Twitter or their own website.

I'm wondering if it were okay for Newspaper Licensing Ireland to write "cf. yesterday's paper, first article on page 8" without obtaining a license. If so, linking should be okay, too.

If I could +1 this a million times... that's the number one feedback I receive from CMS users in commercial environments. Please make it convenient for them to create tables!

It's about expectations. If set your "‘comfortable’ profitability" at 50-70% net profit margin, you are bound to be unhappy for quite some time.

You are asking for honest feedback, so… if you want to excite people about your work, you need to be excited yourself. To my ears you sound rather bored during the video which made me click the back-button midway. Engage!

I just bought both. You'll get 4 downloads for each show and can download MP3 and/or FLAC. Quality seems pretty good to me, but I'm not an audiophile.
