It would be good if they started using this. I moved to spotify because youtube music kept adding songs I thumbs-downed to my playlists. They even added songs I hated to my seasonal mixtapes. If I didn't pay youtube for no ads and crea

I remember using Aztec after using Software Toolworks C for a a few years. It was incredibly advanced in terms of standard C at the time. It was the first time I could just type code from the "C Programming Language" in and it wou

It seems great but it's unusable to me as it does not support any port forwarding and my connections always go through a few jump boxes. The built in multiplexing is like magic.

If you used it from the start, as I did, you would have the muscle memory to compose and edit world class literature, at light speed, and preview with a vague semblance to the printed version on your terminal. As far as editing C under Syst

The trouble is large context uses a large number of tokens. I paid for pro but quickly ran out of tokens by lunch doing complex code. I soon closed the account and went back to open ai. Personally I think it's better but not much use i

I see a path to this every day. An actual scenario: Some developer starts working on pre deployment validation of config files. Let's say in a pipeline. Most of the time the config files are OK. Management says: "Why are you spend

Interesting how complete this is. It's almost as comprehensive as prefect.io This is a critical software infrastructure I have been promoting for years yet almost everyone thinks they don't need it.

I looked at the youtube video closely, it's only 1080 though, I also don't think it is spinning. You can hear the tubes grinding against the plate.

I can't imagine why it would not just run of that plate after a trivial amount of movement. It does look like it would be pretty easy to make with just some bent metal and exercise weights. Colin Furze's one worked well too, maybe

A 'channel file' is a file interpreted by their signature detection system. How far is this from a bytecode compiled domain specific language? Javascript anyone? eBPF, much the same thing, is actually thought about and well design

The glue to hold the sintered carbide powder is cobalt or iron or whatever pot-metal crap they have on hand for cheap blocks. That would be where the magnetism is coming from. If it's highly magnetic you probably have little tungsten a

There are very specific about including 'metals' in every statement. Yep, paramagnetic non metals are: Oxygen (commonly shown on youtube), Nitric Oxide, Boron, Sulfur and some graphites (very slight) due to delocalised electrons.

Storage is not cheap at this scale. That would be 100s of thousands a year at the very least. (How I know, I work in an identical area and have huge budget problems with rando verbose logging).
