The corporate arm of Google has some seriously strange Scientology style vibes about it and I think that is a big driver naturally in their approach to design. If you go and read the material design docs for example, this isn’t my full time

Honestly from the outside looking in when you look at the big picture I don’t find it that much of a mystery. Long term plans are a unified model of computing under the Fuschia umbrella which is going to run everywhere from iot to servers.

It’s kind of strange to think about Apple is kind of known to “fight the US government at every step to protect privacy” and then reconcile all the public goodwill they have with this article. One of the core reasons people seem to love the

I wouldn't mistake popularity with attention. Dart is actually super actively developed and I am still saying in the year 2021 that it is going to become a very big deal once Fuschia drops which could be as early as this week at I/

I'd be totally OK with the magic in something like Spring or Ruby on Rails is another good example if it had code I could inspect when things go wrong. That is really my one and only complaint that I have about "magic". I cur

Reading the plea deal from yesterday from Greenberg was so ridiculous at how little anyone tried to hide anything. The entire thing from start to finish was documented by them in one form or another, how it went on as long as it did shocks

I’ve been looking into this for about a year. This is going to sound crazy right now but I’m saying Fuschia is going to just straight up change computing in the medium term future. I’m expecting it’s first release next week at I/O and

Listen I’m glad this approach seems to work to you and I hope it might even get you through some dark times one day, but there is a reason you are using contrived child like examples here, it’s because it doesn’t hold up to anything remotel

I really don’t know what you mean by teaching mastery of ones self control to children. They are kids not monks. You can teach them all the self control you like, I don’t think there is a serious argument that let’s say for some particularl

It’s truly hard to overstate what a ridiculous position you have staked out here with this argument. You’ve picked some arbitrary definition of what it means to be a victim based on god only knows what philosophy or life experience and then
