They're getting better at describing which features are shimmed, but the easiest way to check is by running a single plugin on a bit of code and seeing for yourself. For instance, I decided just now to check if `transform-object-rest-s

I was actually kinda surprised by that- at least since I've started using it, I've found the documentation to be quite helpful.

I'd argue that single-page apps are a completely new emerging paradigm- the "web-page-as-application" rather than "web-page-as-interface-to-application" (or "webpage-as-hypertext-document", before that.) T

It sounds like the city described in the article (and others mentioned) is subsidizing Uber fares for people in the city. So, if Uber displaces public transport agencies, I suspect it'll end up being the city which gets stuck with the

IMO, the problem is looking at Javascript as a single unified thing. One thing I came away with from this survey is that there are two major competing "stacks" at the moment- the Typescript/Angular stack and the Webpack/

Totally! To tell the truth, I actually really appreciated that you started your comment off with a complimentary tone, even if you had your frustrations about the tech. Small bits of positivity go a long way. :)

To reiterate the top comment up above, the idea of this tutorial is to explicate everything a front-end dev might need to know. Furthermore, the tutorial is deliberately throwing in wrenches here and there (problems with loaders and such)
