I don't think you can look at Amazon's "dependency" on revenue through that simplistic of a lens. AWS is purported to be much more profitable than their retail operations.

That phenomenon isn't limited to patents. That just happens to be an area you're knowledgeable enough in to recognize obvious falsehoods. Imagine the other topics you (we) read on this site that we aren't savvy in.

I agree about the original filename being worth preserving. I have usually renamed them with the paper's title and then the original filename, separated by a hyphen. Sometimes I add a keyword/company name. e.g. Wang03-shazam.p

Seems like it would have to be vulnerable to it still, right? If their "fix" was to filter audio output. They can't filter everyone's laptops..

In case someone from Supabase sees this: there's something weird with the blog layout on iPhone. It goes really narrow. Main site renders fine.

Wireless CarPlay hasn't been reliable in my experience either, which is unfortunate. Even if it's not flaky (it is), the audio quality of music being played sounds highly compressed compared to plugging in.

I'm not sure lie-flat is a must if the flights are so much shorter. I'd rather have a comfortable seat for working if we're only talking about a 3 hour flight.

I agree. I have deep knowledge of a somewhat narrow aspect of tech (and a very shallow knowledge of a much broader base, like many of us.) Comments regarding the areas I have expertise in are frequently quite wrong, but worded confidently.
