Think this is a great idea, I would have paid for this when we were buying our house. Especially for one feature: let me give you a list of properties (perhaps forwarded from my agent, or e.g. a Zillow search) and get back the "enriche

This is a really good idea. And the "Measurements" image does a good job showing the exact ranges of motion it has. Looks like it can bring the display 16" (~40cm) towards you.

Happy to (hopefully) help. I have the Fully Jarvis monitor arm[0]. But it looks like you can find substantially more options here[1] from Uplift, some of which might have better range. Back to the Jarvis, though: see how the photos of it sh

Not an answer to your question, but re: monitor arms.. mine can be pulled out far enough it would touch my face. It mounts into a grommet drilled into my desk. I assume there's other reasons this isn't workable for you, but if it&

"Forking" or "branching" (probably better received outside of SWEs) a conversation really ought to be a first class feature of ChatGPT et Al.

Congrats on the launch! Can it perform searches that rely on the rendered (JS-executed) state of the website? If so, does it have access to the DOM? Example use case: "The 10 most trafficked e-commerce sites that load Adobe Analytics t

Can anyone vouch for this? I (personally) don't mind that it's closed source, but I've never heard of it and can't find much about it. Website makes it look fantastic though, so I'm intrigued. But am hesitating at g

I feel like you're making the opposite case. Given such large N , it would easier to detect positive correlations to aggressive cancers, no?

I haven't had that happen on iOS, but I have woken up in the night needing my flashlight just to find my phone applying a lengthy update. I have it set to download automatically and install manually now, I believe.

Microsoft pushed Teams onto my personal Windows PC in a recent update, as a startup item. And, as far as I could tell, automatically logged me in to my Microsoft account on it. I'd be very skeptical of their MAU claims.

Does that link only show vouched items of some recency? The page is literally blank (minus header and footer) for me, but it's probably been a week or so since I vouched a comment. edit: sorry, I missed the sibling comment to this. I o

Like the parent commenter, I frequently see high quality posts via showdead. I vouch them, but I've never seen one resurrected soon after. I rarely remember to go back and check hours later, but by then the thread has died down anyway.

It's also just app usage data NOT linked to identity, per their App Store page. Suggesting the developer is lying about this is a serious accusation, so I'd hope the parent commenter has some proof they'd like to share. Other

No, but I've seen a _lot_ of videos from people who don't know what aircraft look like at night. And a handful of off-the-shelf drones, probably flying around in response to the first group of videos.

I've noticed this just as a casual user of WhatsApp, when pasting links into a conversation. I'm not sure what triggers it either, but I can say that it sometimes works for (e.g.) one tweet and not another.

Being unfamiliar with DCS' architecture, I expected this repo to be in Lua or something. I was surprised to find a very polished, neatly structured, well-documented Go service, haha. Very cool!

If you hit save too fast while a numeric dial control - like the sort used in the iOS Clock app for alarms - is still (barely) spinning.. it will happily just silently keep its old value. This is easy to repro by spinning an alarm's mi

I don't recall ever playing BattleTris, but Tetrinet is one that got passed around IRC a lot in the 90s. It was a blast. Seconding the notion that their gameplay is a good source of inspiration. https://en.wikipedia.org/
