I have seen people use this to spy on their spouse/partner (usually ex-partner, after that). Seeing their google searches, locations and email is a ton of data. Obviously, never do this. It's illegal and a huge violation of privac

Great, thank you! I look forward to testing it. I also use Debian 9 (or stable, slowly moving towards Debian 10 which will soon be released).

Hi! Any plans to release binaries? If I am currently using 1% of ELK features (I use it for simple log aggregation of servers), but not k8s, would you still recommend loki?

It's a newspaper article, the aim is to raise awareness. People should read this and wonder if/how it applies to their company. It's easy to forget how the lowest-paid in a company are often key people in having operations ru

Not having to worry about parking would therefore be an incentive to go somewhere by car (Uber/Lyft) instead of public transportation.

I use a data-only cell plan ("tablet" plan from Fido), $15/month for 3 GB. For voice calls, I use a SIP account from voip.ms, which mostly goes to voicemail (SIP kind of drains cellphone battery). I rarely use voice, and peop

I had misread your initial comment. As a north-american, I often hear people arguing in favour of more sprawl. A detached house and minimum two cars for a family. I think we agree that we can have nice 'small' but dense cities. We

What's the maximum density? I live in Montreal, which is a medium-sized city, not particularly dense, but cars don't scale as well as humans. The city has become gridlocked, noisy and dangerous, with roads full of potholes no matt

Much appreciated. I have been learning Mandarin on Duolingo. It was mostly just for fun, but at some point it starts getting a bit frustrating (lack of notes, topics, reading longer texts).

Except if you are working for a company that is sending you to the US (your company makes the income). It's easy to argue for 2-3 weeks, harder to argue for over 2 months.

Subsidized daycare can boost the economy: more people having kids, and more people on the workforce. (Quebec/Canada has a mix of semi-state-owned daycare, which are great, but few, and subsidized private daycare, which aren't as g

I don't see how that is relevant. We should not take into account the size of dependant family members. In our field, our jobs should be flexible enough to accommodate anyone, with paid leave, sick leave, flexible schedules. We should

It's not perfect, but personally I appreciate the better security model of Wayland. Although it can be annoying if you have to do screensharing/recording. On my older laptop, it also feels more responsive.

A bit tangential, but would you know if there is an extension that would provide Vim bindings only in textfields? I really miss not being able to use regular expressions (or simple search) in a plain text input.

I agree, however, if the user did want to enter their phone number and they did not notice a silly error because of how it was entered, then you've lost an opportunity. We are seeing this lib as users who get frustrated with marketing
