Another use: on my oldests bmx race bike, he has a disc brake setup. It is like 300% easier to work on. Pull the axle, and the wheel falls out. No futzing with the caliper to get the wheel off the frame, not concerns about getting the w

Me and the kids race BMX bikes, and you’re actually far more likely to take a bar end to your own self, rather than another rider. You typically bang elbows more than you’re hitting a bar on a competitor. I’ve actually seen a kid get impale

Yeah, but in the past two weeks his personal life’s reputation has taken a massive hit. I had assumed he was an asshole when it came to biz stuff, but now it’s clear he’s been hiding his personal assholishness pretty well.

My plan with the mode y my wife just bought herself is to sell in 3-4 years. My 1T diesel pickup won’t be retired like this. I don’t like this approach, but it is what it is.

You won’t always have that option. In ‘02 I ended up taking a job as I had been out of work for 9 mos, it paid 1/2 of what I was earning previously, and that was just the start. But, I had no other options at the time. It took 2 years

I was wondering the same thing, re: dry (or not) air. I’ve spent a good bit of $ on a drying system for my setup. Also: I’ve seen water vapor in the compressor ruin an otherwise nice paint job.

Ford v Ferrari comes to mind too. Great movie, kinda sorta got the events right, but forgot lots of people, assigned credit to other people than those actually responsible, and added a ton of drama crap. Examples: the Holman-moody team came

Mostly what i've seen is making the SBC take a symmetrical head. Saw some INSANE CFE pro stock heads at the machinist last year, he was building them in a large bore, short stroke deal setup for bonneville to run like 11krpm.
